LU4 – The Three Brothers Adventure
When the remastered Lineage 2 server launched, three brothers — Wayward, GreenMama, and Alarion — logged in together, eager to relive the glory of their youth. The new world was breathtaking: forests shimmered under moonlight, castles loomed with eerie grandeur, and every sword sparkled with impossible realism.
But beauty quickly turned to dread.
As they ventured beyond Gludio’s gates, they noticed something wrong. The NPCs whispered their names — *their real names*. When they reached the Execution Grounds, the sky turned crimson. Monsters no longer dropped loot — they dropped messages, each written in their handwriting.
Then came the voice.
“Welcome back, brothers… you left me here last time.”
Wayward character froze. His health bar began to drain, though no enemy attacked. His two brothers tried to help him, but the map itself twisted — roads looped endlessly, and towns burned in silence.
They realized this wasn’t the same Lineage 2. It was a reflection — a haunted server built from forgotten data, abandoned accounts, and lingering souls of players who never logged out.
When the power in their house flickered, the screen showed three new gravestones in the Cemetery. Each bore their character names — and underneath, a new inscription appeared in red:
“Welcome to LU4.”
From that night on, the server remained online — always showing three players logged in.
