As many of you have noticed then the UPDATER might not work as intended, it doesnt mean it wouldnt work for some, but for the majority it might cause problems. If youre having issues like : IT STOPS downloading, and no matter what you do it refuses to start, then this next part is for you. First of all, you need to follow this STEP by STEP, do not diviate from the following. 1. Click on your windows button on your keyboard, or on yourscreen. You will now be able to search throughout your pc. 2. Search for the following: Command prompt, right click on it and run as ADMINISTRATOR 3. Copy paste this: net user administrator /active:yes and click enter 4. now you must log off, hold down the windows button and the letter L on your keyboard, or simply restart your pc. 5. You can now login to your usual account on your pc or an ADMIN account. You have to pick the admin account. There shouldnt be a pasword, in case there is, its often : admin (smallcase letters) 6. Once logged in, click on the WINDOWS button or the icon on the screen, and search for THIS PC, and click on it. 7. Under DEVICES and Drivers, Click on the C drive / Windows (c:) Its in there you have everything on your pc stored, in most cases. 8. Find the folder named : USERS and click on it. 9. In here you need to locate your usual account, once you found it click on it. 10. Locate the location of your l2 eglobal gamefolder, click on it, in my case its in the DOWLOADED files. 11. Open it and run the UPDATER, it will run a full check, succesfully. 12. You can now either stay on the admin account, or simply LOG off and back into your usual account. If you logged off and picked your usual account, read step 13. 13. if you logged into your usual account, RUN the game from the SYSTEM FOLDER, the l2.exe file, DONT run the updater. Donwload the gameclient from utorrent, see the website under FILES 4.When its downloaded RIGHT click on the file, click PROPTERTIES, before extrating it, and uncheck the "safety features" added to the file. 5. Extract the file into the new gamefolder. 6.Run the updater as administrator (full check) 7.Problem should be fixed

Donation is and will also be a part of l2, its simply a way for the GMS to get the necessary funding for the server. The items on the donation list isnt overpowered, and you can easily farm adena to buy the coins ingame to get club card / auto loot aganthion, so i dont really see why youre that frustrated.

I got the same problem. - EDIT- I found a solution. Made a small step by step, must be followed POINT by POINT 1. Delete your gamefolder 2. make a new gamefolder 3. I totally get it...im not playing l2 competetive. Ill join the server that starts tomorrow 23 aug (20.00) Im joinning a clan, with a few other dudes, ill play casually... but then again im a huge Path of exile player, new league starts at 6 september. I can recommend that, path of exile :)

It's to late for things like that. L2 has been populated by whiny clans, that rage quits after no time. All you can do about it, is joining another project, with more active gm's... (its sad to see how inactive the gm's has been here). the next large project will be : On another note, Blizzard is making a desperate attempt to get some players back...they are launching wow classic (how lame is that..trying to make money on something they have done before...because they finally realised that people, arent to happy with the past expansions..money hungry cunts...aug 27). So all in all...enjoy l2 while u can...no server will last for more than 1-2 months..simply not possible, since everybody keeps making new servers..in hope of that ppl will keep spending alot of money..which they only do on server starts. If you want a more permanent game..then play path of exile.

Hmm formated my pc..tried everything..cant access any of the proxies :/ LEETOOX join me ingame, missing you in there :)

I cant acess any of the proxies...i reinstalled the full game 20min ago, using the updater...it still doesnt work. I can only open the game via the gracia epilogue gateway

I deleted all of my old files...i made the updater download the full client... I opened the game...guess what, it changed nothing, the proxies are accessable. Im from Denmark... SO admin / GM...what is wrong :S
