Dear friends!
A cold wind howls through the snow-covered trees, and icy patterns cover the windows. But winter is not just a time of peace and quiet — it is a season of miracles and unexpected phenomena!
According to legend, on the coldest days, you can grow Snow Gourds – mysterious fruits full of magic and treasures. Break these icy fruits and get a reward worthy of true adventurers!
Event time: from restart on December 9 to restart on December 16.
After the event ends, NPC Gourdeater will be in the game only in Giran and Arcan until the restart on December 23. At the restart, all unexchanged event items will be removed.
The local Gourdeater will introduce you to this event. You can find one in any major city.
To participate in the event, purchase the Event Mallet for 50,000 Adena. You will need it to break the grown Snow Gourds. Remember: you cannot break a Gourd with a regular weapon or magic!
And then everything is as easy as pie!
Loot Nectar from Elmoreden monsters. Bring it to Gourdeater and exchange it for:
Seed: Small Young Snow Gourd: 5 Nectar + 30,000 Adena
Seed: Large Young Snow Gourd: 50 Nectar + 250,000 Adena
Each seed can be nurtured with Nectar. The luckier you are, the better the nurtured Gourd will be!
What do you need to do to grow Gourd?
Find the seed you bought from Gourdeater in your inventory. Right-click on it. A Young Snow Gourd/Large Young Snow Gourd will immediately appear before your eyes, depending on the seed you planted.
Water the Young Snow Gourd with Nectar 5 times. The more successful waterings you have, the better the Gourd will grow: if the watering is unsuccessful, you will see a smoke animation above the Gourd, and if the watering is successful, a bright blue animation.
Wilted Snow Gourd appears after two or less successful waterings, and a good one after three or more.
Young Snow Gourd's lifespan is 5 minutes! If you don't have enough Nectar in your inventory to grow it, don't risk it and don't just use the seed, because you'll end up with nothing!
Ripe Snow Gourd's lifespan is 5 minutes! Don't yawn and kill it with the event mallet you bought from Gourdeater!
After you break a Snow Gourd, a transferable box will automatically drop into your inventory. You can save them up or open after collecting a large number, or you can give them to someone else or sell.
Important:
Once you've broken a Gourd, the reward, a Transferable Chest, is automatically sent to the inventory of the player who summoned it.
If your Gourd is watered with Nectar by another player, the Gourd will still grow and the reward will be given to the player who summoned the Gourd.
If your Gourd is killed by another player, the reward will be given to the player who summoned the Gourd.
If your inventory is full, the reward from Gourd will arrive in your character's mail.
If you don't water the Young Gourd or break the grown Gourd within 5 minutes, it will disappear and cannot be returned.
It is useless to beat a young Gourd, it can only be watered, it cannot be broken.
