I'm experiencing extremely slow download speeds whenever a new patch is released. My internet connection is not the issue (around 90 Mbps download, low latency), and all other downloads work at full speed.
I've already tried:
Restarting the launcher
Changing my DNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)
Rebooting my PC
Testing my internet connection (everything looks normal)
The problem only happens when downloading Lineage II patches.
Would it be possible for someone from the team to provide:
The patch/download server URL or hostname, so I can run ping and traceroute tests?
Whether the launcher supports downloading through a different mirror or CDN?
Whether there is an HTTP/HTTPS direct download available for the latest patch?
Whether the launcher supports using a proxy, or if there's any configuration file that allows changing the download endpoint?
Could someone share the hostname or IP address of the patch server? I'd like to run:
ping
tracert (Windows)
pathping
Is there a direct URL to the latest patch package?
If so, I could download it with a download manager like IDM or aria2 and let the launcher verify the files afterward.
I'm trying to determine whether the bottleneck is the routing from my ISP or the patch server itself.
If anyone has found a workaround (VPN, proxy, mirror, different launcher settings, etc.), I'd really appreciate your advice.
