Hello! I'm a LU4 player that want to play the game from Linux, and I'd like to ask about official Linux support or a Wine-friendly option. Your client uses Active Anticheat (active-ac.com) with a kernel-mode driver (`active64.sys`). Wine and Proton translate the Windows API but **cannot load Windows kernel drivers** — there's no Windows kernel to install them into. Because of this, the game exits with *"Driver installation error (11)"*, and no winecfg/winetricks/proton setting fixes it; the launcher fails on `ZwLoadDriver` before the game ever starts. This affects many MMORPG players on Linux (Steam Deck users included), who can't dual-boot or won't give up Linux. Would it be possible to offer: 1. a client build with **Active Anticheat in user-mode mode** (Active Anticheat already supports Linux server-side — a user-mode option would work under Wine), and/or 2. an official Wine/Proton support statement or a whitelisted setup you can support. I'd be glad to beta-test and share logs. Even a Wine-friendly client for Linux players would be a great step.
