Papanda 2628 Опубликовано: 10 июня Рассказать Опубликовано: 10 июня Dear friends. LU4 is not a remake, but a reboot of the legend on the Unreal Engine 4, where classics meet modern technologies. We don’t copy — we create. The open pre-alpha test is a chance to enter the game at the dawn of a new era. Our goal is not just to update the visuals. Despite the presence of visual effects, most of them are temporary placeholders that will later be redesigned in a unified artistic style. We are moving forward: updating mechanics, graphics, and the overall feel of the game — in the direction we believe is right. The main goal of this launch is to showcase the work already done, test the technical stability of the new client, and gather feedback. However, in addition to that, we also want to introduce many new solutions that fix shortcomings of the original game and make it more cohesive and relevant to modern game design standards. Every update is a step toward unlocking the true potential of the game. We are creating LU4 not for the sake of nostalgia, but for real excitement, a sense of progress, and engagement. Pre-alpha gameplay will resemble Classic, but not in its initial form — after the release of all key patches and after the system reached a balanced state. Although the content does evoke associations with the classic server, this does not mean we are launching an exact copy of Classic, Interlude, or MasterWork. Nevertheless, the nature of progression, PvP and PvE mechanics, and the overall vibe — are as close to the classics as possible. The following epic bosses will be available in pre-alpha: Queen Ant, Orfen, Core, Zaken. Castles: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Heine, Oren. The following towns and villages are available: all starting villages and the towns of Gludio, Gludin, Dion, Giran, Heine, Oren, Hunter. Other towns technically exist in the world but have not yet been visually finished and are not part of the test. All areas around the mentioned towns have been redesigned and repopulated according to the concept. Even the zones with level 5–10 mobs have been updated, and now each location has value and is not just a pass-through area. The Grand Olympiad is not available at this stage of testing. The maximum character level is 60, and mob levels go up to 65. Although all content up to level 80 and third professions has already been developed, the pre-alpha focuses only on content up to level 60. And believe us — reaching it will not be easy. Skills are implemented based on MasterWork principles with adjustments for the classic feel. Cooldowns are fixed and do not depend on attack or cast speed. First and second class changes can be done in a party — each member gets the quest items. A full-fledged party system is implemented. Clans work, with an expanded slot base (but smaller than in MW). Alliances are temporarily disabled, but alliance crests can be set. Pets (wolves, kookaburras, striders, etc.) are disabled, but summoners and their minions are available. All equipment — from NG and higher — can be obtained, crafted, and used appropriately. This concept is not the final description of the LU4 project. The innovations and changes described below are relevant only for this stage of testing. As the server progresses, and based on statistics and world studies that we will conduct during gameplay, other changes may also be made. A description of the changes related to character skills will be published as a separate topic a bit later. Become part of the community that is already building the future of Lineage today. With love, the MasterWork team ❤️ Locations. After the complete reconstruction of the world, each territory received clearly organized hunting zones, adapted for various play styles: from solo play to playing in small and full groups. The entire progression from level 1 to 60 is now based on principles of diversity, increasing difficulty, and the importance of interaction with other players. Forests, fields, and forgotten country roads, which previously served only as scenery, have become part of a living, eventful world. Along the old trails now dwell packs of wild beasts and patrols of orcs with gnolls. Some spots have been expanded, others — reworked. Even familiar places are now perceived in a new way. In addition to full hunting zones, more transit locations have appeared on the map — areas that connect key regions but do not loop back on themselves. Although these are not the best places for farming, they are full of life. A player who decides to stray from the main route, play solo, or have a show on in the background will find everything they need here: a couple of monsters and a peaceful space. Each location now has a clear typology: Tag Purpose Composition Difficulty Characteristics S Solo zone 1–2 characters Medium Moderate damage and density. Suitable for slow leveling, quest completion, and resource farming. SG Small group 3–5 characters Above medium Difficult monsters, social aggression, high damage. Optimal for hunting in a coordinated small group. G Full group 6–9 characters High Requires a full group and proper equipment. Monsters have increased damage and health. High but fair rewards. Each territory contains zones of all types. The player is free to choose their path: play solo, bring a friend, or join other players in a full group; Each location has a recommended level range. This means: Minimum — comfortable entry into the location; Maximum — efficiency limit (beyond this, EXP and drops decrease); Example: Dragon Valley, G, 44–64 → Ideal for groups of 6+ characters from level 44 to 64. Talking Island: Levels: 1–24 Center: Talking Island Village Talking Island — a secluded island off the southwestern coast of the Aden continent, serving as the starting point for humans. In ancient times, when elves and orcs fought for dominance on the continent, there was a secret military facility here, built by elves for the secret training of human mages. The trained wizards were supposed to fight alongside the elves in the war against the orcs. Remains of elven architecture can still be seen in the Elven Ruins and at the Obelisk of Victory, erected in honor of the joint victory of humans and elves. However, when the war between elves and humans began, all elves left the island and returned to their forests. The center of the region remains Talking Island Village, where, as in ancient times, people gather who wish to master magic or military craft. Here operates the magic school founded by the wizard Einhovant, where even commoners can study, as well as a branch of the Aden School of Cedric, which teaches warfare. After the landscape rework, the island’s territory has become more diverse. New monster zones appeared in the north and east, and the Elven Ruins turned into a full-fledged location suitable for solo play as well as small and full groups. Everyone will find a suitable format here — from relaxed leveling to dynamic hunting in a full group. Location Type Levels Description Cedric's Training Hall S 1-4 Starter zone for solo players; Weak monsters, suitable for learning combat basics. Einhovant's School of Magic S 1-4 Training zone for solo players; Weak monsters, designed for initial combat training of mages. Talking Island, Northern Territory S 6-20 Solo zone in the northern part of the island; Even monster density, suitable for steady character progression. Elven Territory: Levels: 1–24 Center: Elven Village Elven Lands — homeland of the Light Elves, located in the southeastern part of the Aden continent. Since ancient times, the village built over a lake has been inhabited by Elves who live in harmony with the surrounding forest and thrive under the protection of the Shadow of the World Tree. After betrayal by the Humans, twelve elders of the elven tribe cast a powerful magical barrier over the forest to prevent invasion by other races. However, during the war with the Dark Elves, seven elders died, and the protection weakened. Among the young elves, debates began: many believed that isolation no longer made sense. Their voices were heard, and eventually the barrier was completely lifted, making the Elven Village open to representatives of other races. After the rework, the Elven Lands revealed a new side. Previously empty or safe zones filled with new monsters, and familiar places became more dangerous and diverse. New hunting grounds appeared, suitable for solo players, small groups, and full groups. The region became a balanced zone for leveling up to level 24, preserving the atmosphere of elven forests and offering challenges for players with different play styles. Location Type Levels Description Shadow of the Mother Tree S 1-9 Starter zone for solo players; New areas added, increased monster density. Elven Forest S 4-17 Expanded zone for solo players; Suitable for stable character progression at low levels. Iris Lake S/SG 6-22 New zone designed for solo players and small groups; Suitable for cooperative hunting and steady character progression. Elven Fortress Territory S/SG 10-18 New zone designed for solo players and small groups; Suitable for steady character progression. Dark Elven Territory: Levels: 1–24 Center: Dark Elven Village Dark Elven Lands — an isolated and ominous region in the northwest of Aden, hidden in the shadow of the Misty Mountains. Once, the Dark Elves were called the Brown Elves and were part of the Elven people. However, after learning forbidden dark magic from the human mage Desparion, they were banished from the elven kingdom. When war broke out between the Light and Brown Elves, by Desparion’s cunning plan, the Brown Elves destroyed the tribe of the Wood Elves. Dying, the elders cast a terrible curse upon them: from then on, sunlight would burn their skin and scorch their eyes. Having abandoned the surface, the outcasts retreated underground and founded their own civilization. Over time, they became known as the Dark Elves. Later, the tetrarchs managed to weaken the curse, allowing the race to come to the surface not only at night but also during the day. The Dark Elven Village is located inside a gigantic cave where twilight reigns eternal. In its center stands the Obelisk of Shilen — a grim monument symbolizing their goddess. The architecture, symbolism, and customs of the Dark Elves are imbued with the philosophy of worshiping the goddess of death. After the rework, the territory became much more diverse. Previously empty or sparsely inhabited zones filled with new monsters. Now the region suits both solo leveling and hunting in small and full groups. You can start your journey alone here, but soon it will require cooperation and teamwork. Location Type Levels Description The Shilen Temple S 1-4 Starter zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Shilen’s Garden S 3-8 Zone for solo players; New hunting areas added, increased monster density. The Dark Forest S 6-14 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Black Rock Hill S/SG 13-22 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; New hunting areas added, increased monster density. Altar of Rites SG 18-23 Previously empty zone, reworked for small groups; Monsters added, hunting zones reworked. Orc Territory: Levels: 1–28 Center: Orc Village Northern Highlands of Elmora — the harsh homeland of the orcs, created by the fire god Paagrio. After losing the war against the alliance of humans and elves, they retreated to the Immortal Plateau and built a village-fortress there, surrounded by volcanic slopes and icy plains. Here, in the temple of Paagrio, the orcs preserve ancient traditions and train new warriors for future battles. Orc Village is not just a training center, but a symbol of strength and perseverance. Within its walls operate forges and temples, rituals and training take place. Young orcs master combat arts and magic, while elders and shamans pass down ancestral knowledge, strengthening every student. After the update, the territory became wider and richer. New hunting locations appeared, zones for small and full groups were strengthened. Now the player can choose their path: from solo leveling to coordinated group hunting. Location Type Levels Description Temple of Paagrio S 1-4 Starter zone for solo players; New hunting areas added, increased monster density. Valley of Heroes S 3-8 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development at low levels. Dwarven Territory: Levels: 1–35 Center: Dwarven Village Hidden among the harsh northwestern mountains of the Aden continent, the Dwarven Lands — home of the dwarves, created by the earth goddess Mafr. Their village, sheltered in the mountain ridges and covered by eternal snows, serves not only as a starting point but also as a center of craftsmanship, blacksmithing, and engineering mastery. Once, fleeing from orcs, the dwarves left their kingdom Mlan and settled here, barricading the mountain tunnels leading to the village. After rework, the territory has significantly expanded: mines received new hunting zones, and previously quiet spots are now suitable for both solo leveling and hunting in small and full groups. Players can choose their own pace and playstyle. Location Type Levels Description Strip Mine S 1-4 Starter zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Western Mining Zone S 6-20 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Mithril Mines SG/G 18-32 Reworked zone for small and full groups; Monsters strengthened, hunting zones reworked. Frozen Valley S 1-10 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Gludin Territory: Levels: 12–38 Center: Gludin Village Gludin Lands — a coastal region on the western shore of the Aden continent with a mild climate, rolling plains, and picturesque shores. The region serves as an important transit hub between starting zones and the central lands of the kingdom. Gludin Village, which lacks its own castle, is subordinate to Gludio and is known for its port, from where ships sail to Talking Island and the northern lands of Elmore. Previously, ships also sailed from here to Gracia, but due to the war, trade with that continent has been suspended. Because of military actions, many buildings in the village were damaged, and restoration work is currently underway. After the rework, key hunting locations have been updated: monster density increased, and new zones for small and large groups have been added. The region has become one of the main leveling territories for low and mid-level characters. Location Type Levels Description Windmill Hill S 14-23 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development at low and mid levels. Red Rock Bridge S 29-36 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development at mid levels. Gludio Territory: Levels: 15–42 Center: Town of Gludio Gludio — the southwestern part of the Aden continent, once a flourishing land with a mild climate, now severely damaged by the war with Gracia. When Beleth was sealed, the region also suffered a catastrophe that devastated the southern lands, leaving scorched fields and ruins. The center of the territory remains the town of Gludio with its castle, built on the site of a destroyed fortress before the Gracia invasion. From here, main routes lead deeper into the continent, and the surrounding plains and ruins have become hunting grounds for novice adventurers. After the rework, some locations were updated: monster density increased, zones for small groups appeared, and new territories near the town opened up, suitable for comfortable solo leveling without the need to leave the region. Location Type Levels Description Neutral Zone S 16-22 Starting zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Maille Lizardman Barracks S/SG 22-30 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; New hunting zones added, monsters strengthened. Gludio Town Lands S 12-26 New zone for solo players; Suitable for comfortable hunting without the need to leave the region. Dion Territory: Levels: 20-55 Center: Town of Dion Dion — once a thriving agricultural center of southern Aden, known for its vast plains and marshes. Its wealth was based on wheat harvests gathered from fertile lands. However, after the recent war with Gracia, a significant part of resources was diverted to the army’s needs, taxes rose, and the region was engulfed by peasant unrest. The aristocracy left the town, leaving it in desolation. Today, Dion is considered one of the poorest corners of the kingdom. Nevertheless, it remains an important hunting territory. After the rework, locations have become much more diverse: monster numbers increased in some places, enemies were strengthened in others. The region is now suitable for any playstyle — from solo leveling to hunting in small and full groups. Location Type Levels Description Plains of Dion S 22-32 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Dion Hills S 20–25 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Cruma Marshlands S 25–37 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development at mid levels. Cruma Tower G 40–52 Reworked zone for small and full groups; Monsters strengthened. Giran Territory: Levels: 30-68 Center: Town of Giran Giran — the largest trading center of Aden and an important port on the southern coast. The city is politically and economically independent from the capital, and power here belongs to the Merchant Guild. This organization controls trade, laws, and resource distribution across the region. Key trade routes pass through Giran, which houses the largest markets, forges, laboratories, ports, and clan warehouses. After the rework, the region received a clear division by difficulty and play styles: locations designed for solo leveling, hunting in small and full groups appeared. Here are the key zones of the patch, including Lair of Antharas — the titular location of the region, intended for high-level full groups. Location Type Levels Description Breka's Stronghold S 30-37 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. New hunting spots added. Monsters strengthened. Gorgon's Flower Garden S 30-37 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. New hunting spots added. Death Pass S 35-42 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. New hunting spots added. Hardin's Academy S/SG 37-43 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; New hunting zones added, monsters strengthened. Dragon Valley SG/G 44-64 Zone for small and full groups; Hunting zones reworked, monsters strengthened. The Lair of Antharas G 60-68 The strongest group zone of the update; Hunting zones reworked, monsters strengthened. Heine Territory: Levels: 34-53 Center: Town of Heine Heine — a city built on water. White-stone bridges and canals reflect the refined architecture inherited from elven traditions. The city serves as a religious and cultural center of the region, uniting the old Aden aristocracy, the sea trade of Innadril, and pilgrims seeking blessings from the water goddess Eva. After the rework, the territory became noticeably more diverse. The coastline and plains remain convenient for solo leveling. Alligator Island is now designed for small groups — the monster density has increased, making hunting efficient for two or three players. The main change is the Garden of Eva — an underground temple built by the goddess Eva. It is a five-level dungeon, completely underwater, with ring-shaped floors and a central tower. It is now a full-fledged location for hunting in full groups. Location Type Levels Description Alligator Beach S 38-42 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Alligator Island SG 40-48 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; Increased number of hunting spots. Monsters strengthened. Field of Silence S 35-42 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Monsters strengthened by x1. Field of Whispers S 34-43 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Increased number of hunting spots. Garden of Eva G 40-53 Reworked zone for small and full groups, monsters strengthened. Oren Territory: Levels: 33-59 Center: Town of Oren Oren — the northeastern region of the Aden continent, located on the border of mountain passes and unstable magical zones. In the past, it was an independent principality, the only one to openly oppose the unification of the lands. The fortified city, built by the warrior guild, still retains signs of autonomy: powerful walls, harsh architecture, and a unique position between civilization and wilderness. The central point of the region remains the Ivory Tower — the mages' citadel, whose experiments in the past gave rise to the Sea of Spores: a contaminated zone partially reclaimed by nature. Around it lie lizardmen lairs, abandoned Timak orc outposts, and cursed forests inhabited by ghosts and outcasts. After the rework, the region's locations received a clear division by levels and playstyles. Oren offers hunting content for mid-level characters — transitioning from solitary excursions to coordinated group actions. Location Type Levels Description Ivory Tower Crater S 40-46 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Timak Outpost S 40-47 Reworked zone for solo players; Added new hunting zones, monsters strengthened. Sea of Spores S/SG 40-50 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; Increased number of spots and strengthened monsters. Plains of the Lizardmen S 33-43 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Added new hunting spots. Skyshadow Meadow S/SG 52-62 Zone for solo players and small groups; Suitable for steady character development. Monsters strengthened by x1. Forest of Evil Spirit S 44-52 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. Outlaw Forest S/SG 49-59 Reworked zone for solo players and small groups; Added new hunting zones, monsters strengthened. Hunter Territory: Levels: 40-58 Center: Hunter's Village Hunter's Village — a vast forest area east of Oren, where hunting and survival have become a way of life. The region's center is Hunter's Village — a village founded by hunters and trackers, where strict rules are observed: do not hunt the prey of others and do not claim others’ trophies. The village is situated on a mountain slope, divided by a canyon and connected by two bridges, giving it a unique architectural appearance. After rework, key hunting locations were updated: monster density increased, zones for solo players, small and full groups added. The territory became an excellent alternative for mid-level character leveling — rich in content and suitable for various playstyles. Location Type Levels Description Hunters Valley S 40-48 Zone for solo players; Suitable for steady character development. The Enchanted Valley SG/G 44-58 Zone for small and full groups; Hunting zones reworked, monsters strengthened. The Forest of Mirrors S/SG/G 40-58 Reworked location with many spots for all group types; Monsters strengthened, hunting zones reworked. Items. As part of the Lu4 concept, we focused on refining the early-game economy. The new economic model features a reworked and more accessible equipment progression system. Now players don’t need to gather millions for a new sword or sacrifice weapons for crystals — everything is built on step-by-step improvements: All shops in the game have been standardized: The assortment and prices of all Grocers (Grocery) in every city have been standardized and unified. Beast Soulshot and Blessed Beast Spiritshot are also sold by Grocers: Hidden Content Reminder: MP and HP elixirs on MasterWork have independent cooldowns, so we recommend using them actively. They will often help you in battle. In the starting villages, you can purchase without markup and upgrade any NG weapons, armor, and jewelry: Hidden Content In all towns, you can purchase and upgrade any weapon, armor (except for one piece of the sets), and D-grade jewelry: Hidden content Tattoos: Removed from sale: dyes +1/-3, +4/-6, and other obsolete variants. Remaining dyes available from NPCs in towns for Adena: +1/-2, +1/-1, +2/-3, +2/-2, +3/-4, +3/-3, +4/-5, +4/-4. Dye prices (excluding city tax): Hidden content Dyes for the first profession: +1/-2 — 12 000 Adena; +1/-1 — 18 000 Adena. Dyes for the second profession: +1/-2 — 21 000 Adena; +1/-1 — 31 500 Adena; +2/-3 — 27 000 Adena; +2/-2 — 40 500 Adena; +3/-4 — 30 000 Adena; +3/-3 — 45 000 Adena; +4/-5 — 36 000 Adena; +4/-4 — 54 000 Adena. Cost to apply/remove tattoos (for first and second profession dyes): Hidden content +1/-2 or +1/-1: Apply: 100 000 Adena; Remove: 20 000 Adena. +2/-3 or +2/-2: Apply: 150 000 Adena; Remove: 30 000 Adena. +3/-4 or +3/-3: Apply: 200 000 Adena; Remove: 40 000 Adena. +4/-5 or +4/-4: Apply: 250 000 Adena; Remove: 50 000 Adena. In the city, the prices include a 10% tax for tattoos. Improving armor, weapons, and jewelry:: You can start with the most basic sword for 900 Adena and step by step upgrade it to a top NG weapon by exchanging it commission-free at merchants in towns. After obtaining the first profession, each character receives a coupon that allows exchanging one top NG weapon for a Low-D one, which can then also be upgraded step by step as the budget replenishes; We strive to deliver the most authentic gaming experience within the testing of Lu4. At the current stage, the game lacks the usual MasterWork shadow and common weapons, rewards for Missions and Achievements, the Ivory Coin shop, starter packs, and other mechanics designed to meet the need for starting equipment. However, we believe the standard game situation where a player with starting equipment has to painfully grind Adena for better D-grade weapons is unacceptable. We broke this path into several intermediate stages, resulting in a more smooth and fair character equipment progression for all players: Many players have encountered a similar system before. It works similarly to the pet equipment upgrade system (wolf fangs, etc.); This mechanic applies not only to weapons but also to armor and jewelry, allowing you to develop evenly as you explore the updated game world: Pay attention! Many armors that were previously irrelevant have received updates and are now part of new sets. These changes will be described in more detail later. An additional advantage of this system is the expansion of the economy. Items that previously were sold to shops or only used as crystals will become part of the player market economy: The sell price of all items to shops has been reduced from 50% to 25%; This measure, combined with the item upgrade system, makes trading any game items profitable for both sellers and buyers. Equipment can be upgraded at any merchant of the corresponding item type (weapons, armor, jewelry) in starting villages (for NG) and towns (for D-grade); Important! The step-by-step upgrade system works only for NG and D-grade items. C and B-grade equipment can only be obtained through crafting or as drops from mobs and raid bosses. Weapon Upgrading: Upgrading from Low-NG to Top-NG takes 4 steps: Hidden text After that, you can exchange the obtained Top-NG weapon for a coupon (reward for completing 1 profession) for any Low-D at the Newbie Guide: Hidden text And then gradually upgrade your D-grade Weapon (which also has 4 upgrade stages): Hidden text Armor Upgrading: We recommend you study the bonuses of the new NG and D-grade sets, which you will find below; Armor upgrades work similarly to weapons, but you cannot exchange NG armor for D-grade armor; Pay attention! One of the pieces required to form D-grade sets is not sold in shops. For any set, you can buy/exchange the upper and lower armor. Depending on the set type, the required additional piece (gloves, boots, or helmet) is not available in shops and can only be obtained via crafting/market purchase or as loot from monsters/bosses. NG Armor: Hidden text D-grade Armor: Hidden text Jewelry Upgrading: Similar to weapons and armor, gradual upgrading of jewelry helps make progress smoother and is intended to prevent a situation where a level 40 character still has beginner NG jewelry; Similarly to armor, NG jewelry cannot be exchanged for D-grade; NG Jewelry: Hidden text D-grade Jewelry: Hidden text All D-grade weapons, starting from the 3rd upgrade stage (all D-grade weapons have 5 ranks), can be augmented with a SA. A detailed description of bonuses and the insertion cost can be found later in this section; Armor has also received significant improvements. In addition to standard sets, "mini-sets" have been added to the game starting from NG, consisting of two parts with their own unique bonuses. These sets do not have traditional enchantment bonuses but allow for more meaningful and consistent equipment progression. All armor can also be gradually upgraded at NPC merchants within the same grade; In addition to the familiar D-grade sets, we’ve added new full sets with their own bonuses, improving the diversity of character development. D-grade sets are available at NPC shops, with the exception of one part (boots, helmet, or gloves), which can be either dropped or crafted; We have reworked the armor enchantment system. Now the OE (Over-Enchant) bonus of a set becomes active starting from +3 enchantment. More details about the bonuses are provided later in this section; The gradual equipment improvement system also applies to jewelry. Now you can steadily increase your magical defense without needing to save up Adena for top-tier jewelry right away; Pay attention! During testing, catacombs and all related mechanics will be unavailable. This means that the weapon exchange system at the Blacksmith of Mammon for Ancient Adena will also be unavailable. More about armor: Bonus for upgrading individual armor pieces: When enchanting armor from +4 to +8, the armor grants additional HP; When enchanting a full armor piece (top + bottom), the bonus is multiplied by x1.5, for example, 75 HP instead of 50; Hidden text D-grade C-grade B-grade +4 5 10 20 +5 10 20 35 +6 20 35 50 +7 35 50 70 +8 50 70 100 Bonus to Enhancement of D, C, and B-grade Sets: Hidden Text D-grade: Heavy Light Robe +3 Accuracy +1 Evasion +1 Weight Limit +10% +4 P. General Approach to Monetization and Donations: The purpose of having paid services is to attract additional funds that will help bring in more developers and speed up the project's development. Unlike MasterWork, our goal is not to let players skip early-level content, but rather to enhance it and make it a full-fledged part of the gameplay; The in-game shop will not include consumables — shots, potions, experience runes, starter packs, and other items that simplify gameplay. Donations should not give a direct advantage in combat. The familiar MasterWork in-game shop will be limited to one item — the "Support the Project" button: MasterWork and Lu4 exist solely thanks to you. We are grateful that you trust us with your time and money, and we strive to make the game better and more interesting for you. Thank you for being with us! All players who decide to support the project's development will receive multiple in-game bonuses. This is a kind of Premium Account with significantly expanded functionality: Pay attention! Some of the details below may change during development, but the overall concept of the system will remain unchanged; Bonuses apply to the entire Game Account and all characters on it; The server's content plan is designed for 40 days, but we do not plan to shut down the servers afterward. Cost: 1 day - 20 Master Coin; 3 days - 50 Master Coin; 7 days - 100 Master Coin; 14 days - 150 Master Coin; 30 days - 250 Master Coin; 100 days - 500 Master Coin + additional gift. Bonuses: Premium Account Features: +50% EXP (experience gained, does not affect daily limit); You will get more experience from monsters and bosses, while the experience limit will remain the same. +50% SP; +50% Drop; +50% Spoil. Additional game window: By default, 1 window + 1 additional window for Premium Account holders is available. Teleports: With Premium Account: Free town teleports at any level; Location teleports are paid from level 1, 50% discount on location teleports. Without Premium Account: All town-to-town teleports are free for players level 1-29, after level 30 they cost some Adena; Location teleports are paid from level 1. Access to basic buff list at any level; Global chat every 60 seconds; Expansion Features: +50% carry weight +50 inventory slots +50 personal storage slots +5 buy/sell slots in the market. All the bonuses described above will be granted for the entire duration of your Premium Account. There will be no traditional in-game store on the server; At the same time, Master Coin remains an in-game currency — coins can be transferred from your account to the game, and you can also purchase services in your Master Account using your existing cumulative discount. Services in the Master Account: Nickname color change — 50 Master Coin; Title color change — 25 Master Coin; Character rename — 30 Master Coin; Character transfer to another account — 100 Master Coin; Gender change — 40 Master Coin; Penalty removal (from player) for leaving/kicking from a clan — 10 Master Coin; Penalty removal (from clan) for kicking a member — 30 Master Coin. Clan system. Lineage2 — a game with a strong emphasis on social interaction, and the clan system along with their rivalries is one of its fundamental features. Ahead of this Alpha Testing, we have prepared several updates to the MasterWork clan system, some of which will also be applied to Lu4. We will cover the details in this section: During alpha testing, clans cannot join alliances: An alliance can be created to set an emblem, but other functionality is not available in the game. Available activities for Clans and organized groups: Epic Bosses: Queen Ant, Orfen, Core, Zaken. Castles: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Innadril, Oren. Conquerable Clan Halls: Fortress of Resistance and Bandit Stronghold; Regular purchasable clan halls are currently unavailable. Maximum clan level — 5; Maximum number of clan members: Clan level 0: 40 characters; Clan level 1: 50 characters; Clan level 2: 60 characters; Clan level 3: 70 characters; Clan level 4: 80 characters; Clan level 5: 90 characters. Currently, only the basic clan system is implemented, without the ability to create Squads and an Academy; Clan Reputation System (CRP) is not available; To level up the Clan and learn Clan Skills, Proof of Loyalty is required: Granted as a reward for completing the first (1 pc.) and second professions (1 pc. for each mark, total 3 pcs.); Proof of Loyalty has been added to the drop of all raid bosses in the open world, as well as some monsters in top-tier locations; SP and Adena are no longer required to learn skills and level up the clan. Clan Leveling: 0 ➝ 1: 15 Proof of Loyalty; 1 ➝ 2: 35 Proof of Loyalty; 2 ➝ 3: 50 Proof of Loyalty; 3 ➝ 4: 100 Proof of Loyalty, or standard quest (item only, no SP/Adena); 4 ➝ 5: 150 Proof of Loyalty. Fatigue System: Character fatigue is an experience gain limitation system that reduces the experience rate down to 10% after reaching a certain amount of EXP gained per day: Key features: After gaining a certain amount of experience within 24 hours, fatigue activates and EXP rates drop to 10% of base values: A "Tired" character receives the full experience penalty upon death in PvE and PK, but a reduced death penalty in PvP (0.1%); The experience limit resets every day at 6:30 AM server time; Important! Unclaimed experience accumulates over time, meaning you don't have to reach the limit every day. At low rates, it is possible to "break the cap" — that is, to gain experience beyond the limit by passing certain fatigue stages. This allows continued progression, but slower; The reduction affects only experience gain. Drops, quests, in-game rewards, and other aspects remain unchanged; The system is designed to equalize chances between players with high and low online time, while still allowing active players to pull ahead through effort and smart activity management. Experience Gain in Groups: In Interlude chronicles, you received 19.11% of full experience for killing a mob in a group: For example, killing a golem in Cruma solo would give you 1000 experience, but in a group — 191. In High Five, this number increased to 24.44% of full experience for killing a mob: Solo — 1000 experience, in group — 244 experience. For Lu4 and MasterWork, we not only increased this percentage. Now it is 30.00% of full experience for killing a mob: Solo — 1000 experience, in group — 300 experience: 2 characters 110% (+10% bonus) 1100 experience, 550 per character 3 characters 125% (+25% bonus) 1250 experience, 416 per character 4 characters 140% (+40% bonus) 1400 experience, 350 per character 5 characters 150% (+50% bonus) 1500 experience, 300 per character 6 characters 180% (+80% bonus) 1800 experience, 300 per character 7 characters 210% (+110% bonus) 2100 experience, 300 per character 8 characters 240% (+140% bonus) 2400 experience, 300 per character 9 characters 270% (+170% bonus) 2700 experience, 300 per character We also removed the dependency on the number of players in the group. Starting from 5 up to 9 players, you will receive the same amount of experience — 30.00%. Of course, you can keep farming solo to get the full 100% experience, but solo killing speed will be significantly lower than farming in a group. Getting a third of the experience but killing mobs 5–7 times faster means you will level up much quicker. Therefore, we recommend finding a stable group before the start or gathering/joining groups in-game for faster leveling. In addition to the experience system, we added a quest item distribution system for all group members. Now you can even complete class transfer quests while in a party, and all members will receive quest items in full. Experience Penalty Table Based on Character and Mob Levels: Hidden text Experience Table and Leveling: One of the goals of this launch is to evenly test the technical stability and gameplay mechanics currently implemented in the Lu4 client. To maintain the required pace of progression, we changed the amount of experience needed for certain levels. Mostly the changes affect high levels. Details below: Required experience up to level 16 remains unchanged; Levels 16-19 received a fixed multiplier of 1.75; For levels 20 and above, the required experience has been increased according to a formula, gradually rising proportionally to level growth: Level Old XP New XP Multiplier 20 188k 376k ×2.0 40 1.7M 4.3M ×2.5 52 6.1M 20.1M ×3.3 58 11.8M 44.8M ×3.8 60 19.8M 79.2M ×4.0 Professions: To obtain the first and second professions, you need to complete the standard quest: Detailed instructions for completing professions can be found in our Wiki; Pay attention! Profession quests can now be completed in a group. Quest items will be received by all players. Quests for the first profession: Adena has been removed from the rewards; Quests can be completed between levels 18 and 25; Added to rewards weapon upgrade coupon, which allows exchanging Top-NG weapons for Low-D; After reaching level 25, you will receive 0 experience as a quest reward. Buffs and Newbie Guide: Unlike Masterwork, self-buffs play an important role here. Previously, a buffer was an optional but useful part of a group. However, now the situation is different — buffers are needed from the very beginning of the game: they provide shields starting at level 1 and perform other important group support functions; Pay attention! The usual club buffs, cocktails, scrolls, and similar enhancements are not available in the game. Only consumable potions from regular shops are available — Mammon and his goods are not yet in the game. In the future, an NPC buffer will appear in the game, but its assortment will be very limited. The list of available buffs will be published later. We recommend that you prepare in advance by having important support classes in your group. Professions: Marks for the second profession are sold only for Adena: One mark costs 1 000 000 Adena, the entire profession at once — 2 500 000 Adena. The first profession is available exclusively through a quest. This start is truly a unique event in the history of Lineage 2. No one has yet created projects of this scale.
