We’ve received many questions from you about how the classes work, so we’ve gathered all the information in one place. The relevant sections include all class skills learned after acquiring the second profession. In some cases, we’ve also added important skills learned before level 40. Overall, there have been no radical balance changes. Skills available during testing have been selected according to our planned game concept, and in some cases, considering technical limitations of the new client. Some general information: The learning levels of most skills have been reworked: Skills are now learned more gradually. You will be able to learn new skills more frequently as your character levels up. All skills are learned manually from an NPC corresponding to your class. Most skills require books: Books for skills from level 1–39 are sold by NPCs in towns, while books for second profession skills are obtained from monsters; The skill description will specify the location and monsters that drop the required book. Most skills work similarly to MasterWork, however: Skills that move the character (like Rush, Shadow Step, etc.) are not available: Such mechanics will be added in future updates. Most AoE skills now have a target limit; Mage AoE skills no longer deal Overhits. The game has no “ultimate” skills like Sublimes, FOE, Medusa, etc.; Base magic critical chance is 5%, with a maximum of 20%: Healing skills also have a chance to critically effect. Physical skills have a chance to crit, which depends on base chance and the character’s STR stat: Skills that can deal critical damage are noted in the descriptions. The minimum Overhit bonus is 25%; Duration of most common self-buffs is increased to 20 minutes; Skills work on a trait system. The elemental attribute mechanic is not used. For example: Resist Aqua gives water resistance in %, but does not increase water defense attribute. Minimum debuff success chance — 0%, maximum — 95%; Traditional class transformations are not available; All summoned servants (summons) require Spirit Ore to summon and maintain, and do not consume player XP: Ore consumption is standardized for all summons at all skill levels. Currently, the client does not support the usual split of buff slots into groups (buffs in one line, dances/songs in another, etc.): All buffs occupy a single common row; Buffs cannot be cancelled (Alt+click); Default number of buff slots is 24; Passive skills that increase slot count give +2 slots per level, for a total of 32 slots: Slot expansion books drop from raid bosses in the game world, and levels 1 and 2 can be purchased for Adena from the Black Marketer of Mammon in towns.
