  Download launcher

If you are installing the game for the first time

Download the official launcher

Go to the website

Place the launcher in a separate folder

The launcher downloads the game into the folder where it is located.
Launch it and make sure version 1.7.1.1 is installed. The version number is shown in the lower-left corner.

Select the Lu4 server in the settings

This tells the launcher which client to download.

Click “Check Files”

The launcher will begin checking and downloading the client. Do not close it until the file update is complete.

If MasterWork is already installed

Use one shared folder and one launcher.
The Lu4 and MasterWork clients do not conflict with each other. If they are currently in different folders, move them into one shared folder.

Update the launcher to version 1.7.1.1

Restart it. If the automatic update does not work, download the latest version from the website.

Keep the launcher in the MasterWork folder

Lu4 will be downloaded alongside the existing client without interfering with it.

Select the Lu4 server

Open the launcher and switch to the required server.

Click “Update Files”

The launcher will check the files and update the Lu4 client in the same shared folder.

Key information

Can I use a different client?

No. Lu4 only supports the client downloaded through the official launcher.

Where is the torrent?

Torrent download is currently unavailable. The files may be made available later if necessary.

What should I do after installing the client?

Launch the launcher and click “Check Files.” Wait for the check and client download to complete.
