appearances of other kinds

Hi. I’m going to play on the new Latin American server launching on the 31st. I’ve been doing some research and wanted to ask about the subclass system: it says that any subclass can become the main class via a donation. My question is, if I start as a Dwarf, choose Destroyer (Orc) as a subclass, and then turn that subclass (Orc) into my base class, can I keep the appearance of my original main class (Dwarf), or will I take on the appearance of the subclass (Orc) that is now my main class? This is really important to me because I love the stats of one class but also love the look of another; I’d gladly pay just to change the appearance. I also noticed there are fewer hairstyle options and wanted to know if more will be added in the future.
