There are updates that add new content. And then there are updates that make you realize the game is becoming exactly what you've always wanted it to be. In this patch, we've implemented several of the community's most requested features: assigning your own keybinds additional skill panels sorting buffs in the interface These aren't just new features — they're changes we've been asking for. We've listened carefully to feedback and consistently implemented what's truly important to players. And this is just the beginning. We're already working on a new chat system. We continue to develop the game not only with new content, but also with improvements that make every day in-game more convenient, modern, and enjoyable. The game gets better with every update—and even more long-awaited changes are on the way. New LU4 servers – three worlds, one concept We've collected answers to the most frequently asked questions about the new LU4 servers. Details about the concept, development, and future of the servers are below, under the spoiler. Hidden text On July 31st, we will open three new servers to provide comfortable gaming experience for different regions and time zones. Two servers with the classic UTC+3 time zone One server for LATAM players with adapted event times No single game world can comfortably accommodate every player. This isn't about artificially splitting the community — it's about maintaining the right balance between server population and gameplay quality. A healthy population makes the world feel alive, but excessive overcrowding has the opposite effect. Limited hunting grounds, long queues for bosses, and constant competition for every resource quickly turn enjoyable gameplay into frustration. Our goal isn't to achieve the highest possible online numbers, but to provide a stable, well-balanced environment where every player has room to progress, participate in events, and enjoy the game without unnecessary obstacles. Server time zones On European servers, the main events will take place at the usual times: Epic bosses — around 21:00 UTC+3 Sieges — 18:00 UTC+3 On the LATAM server, these same events will be moved to the appropriate regional time range so that players from the American continent don't have to adjust to a different time zone: Epic bosses — around 21:00 local time Sieges — 18:00 local time For example, if an epic boss spawns at 21:00 Argentina time (UTC-3), then for other regions it will be: Kyiv — 3:00 the next day Moscow — 3:00 the next day Warsaw — 2:00 the next day Berlin — 2:00 the next day Vladivostok — 7:00 the next day That's why the LATAM server will use a separate event schedule, tailored to the region's time zone. The same game content should be available to players at convenient times, rather than being a nighttime event for some and a daytime event for others. The specific time zone will be announced closer to the opening date. Players from Europe who plan to exploit the time difference solely to gain an advantage over other players should understand that servers are created with specific regions and their game schedules in mind. Attempts to exploit time zones to circumvent the intended balance will be considered actions that violate a level playing field for all participants. Trying to gain an advantage in this way will ultimately only backfire on you. Merge of servers in the future Going forward, the European servers will develop within a single ecosystem and will eventually be merged. The LATAM server will remain a separate branch to maintain a comfortable event schedule and a stable gaming environment for players in the region. Servers start July 31 On launch day: All players will be able to progress up to level 25 Progression beyond level 25 will be regulated by the Fatigue system, similar to the Gamma server The journey from level 25 to 60 will be slightly faster After reaching level 60, progression will follow the current Gamma server settings LU4's development pace and philosophy We've heard your feedback and made changes to the fatigue system. However, it's important to understand the core concept of LU4: LU4 is not a level race. This is a game about: character development progress through content at your own pace equipment appropriate to the current stage completed quests group development emotions and long-term progress Reaching the maximum level as quickly as possible is not the goal of LU4. The Fatigue system is designed to maintain a healthy pace of progression and ensure that every stage of the game remains meaningful. A strong character is defined not only by level, but also by equipment, skills, completed quests, player experience, and teamwork. Unlike seasonal servers built around racing to the finish, LU4 is designed as a long-term game world with steady progression and lasting character development, following the philosophy of the flagship Gamma server. Every level gained, every item earned, and every achievement unlocked is part of the journey—not just the destination. LU4 is a different approach. This is a place for calm, consistent play with just the right amount of challenge. A game where not only the outcome but the journey itself is valued. Unified updates for all servers All LU4 servers will have the same: settings game mechanics patch notes update release dates All updates will be released simultaneously for all servers. The differences may only be situational and minor: the level of epic bosses depending on the overall development of the server the amount of Fatigue available per day if balancing is necessary The basic concept and rules of the game will remain the same for all worlds. Welcome to LU4 LU4 is not a server to "beat". This is a world to be traversed. We're not creating a short sprint to the next discovery, but a long story where every step matters. Welcome to the new LU4. Skills and mechanics: The game has undergone another round of technical polishing. Skill descriptions and icons have been updated, outdated bugs have been fixed, and numerous minor interface and gameplay improvements have been made. This work is aimed at improving the quality of the project and creating a more robust foundation for future updates. Expose Weak Point: The skill's logic has been improved, as a result of which it will now apply more frequently Improved skill description Effect duration reduced to 15 sec. Evasion Counter Evasion Chance Evasion Haste: Improved skill descriptions Fixed a bug where the character would freeze in place when the effect was triggered Evasion Counter — the skill's logic has been improved, which will have a positive effect on its performance at high character levels Lethal Shot Multiple Shot Death Shot: Skills now ignore shields. Magic Firework: In addition to the standard effect, the skill has a certain chance of causing a large, spectacular explosion We recommend moving the camera further away and using it away from trees and flammable buildings Children under 18 years of age are prohibited from using the site without adult supervision Bards - Bladedancer & Swordsinger: Assault: Skill improved: When used, additionally increases the character's Speed by +25 for 3 sec. When Assault is cast, several actions occur simultaneously: the bard moves toward the target, slows them, and gains a Speed bonus. As a result, the skill becomes more than just a way to quickly close the distance, but a fully-fledged tool for initiating an attack, keeping the enemy close, and maintaining the momentum of the fight. Expert Casting: New passive skill, learned at levels 40, 48, 55, 61, 66, and 70 for Bladedancer and Swordsinger: Cast. Spd. +10/11/12/13/14/15% M. Skill Reuse Time -10/12/14/16/18/20% These changes will make magical abilities more quickly and frequently cast. For example, Elemental Heal and Hex are key abilities for both Elves and Dark Elves. These changes will allow Bards to cast these abilities faster than other classes, allowing them to utilize their abilities more effectively in combat and when supporting a group. Sword Symphony Psycho Symphony Poison Blade Dance Demonic Blade Dance: General changes for skills: Skills now ignore shields Skill damage ignores 12% of targets' P. Def. Base cooldown reduced to 12 sec. The actual damage of these skills increases, but they retain their original characteristics: low base power and high dependence on the bard's P. Atk. Counter Rhythm: The skill has been significantly enhanced: Added skill level 4: Learned at character levels 40, 50, 60 and 70 The skill reduces the MP Cost of all skills (physical, magical and rhythm), and the effect has become stronger: P. Skills MP Consumption -40/50/60/70% M. Skills MP Consumption -40/50/60/70% Rhythms MP Consumption -40/50/60/70% The effect can be activated by using skills: Aggression (Bladedancer, Swordsinger) Assault (Bladedancer, Swordsinger) Deadly Strike (Bladedancer, Swordsinger) Arrest (Bladedancer, Swordsinger) Demonic Blade Dance (Bladedancer) Poison Blade Dance (Bladedancer) Psycho Symphony (Swordsinger) Sword Symphony (Swordsinger) Chance to trigger from normal attacks is 5% Chance to trigger when using skills 25% Effect duration is 10 sec. Cooldown 15 sec: Important! Each activation method has a separate cooldown. This means that if Counter Rhythm is triggered by Deadly Strike, it cannot be reactivated by this skill for the next 15 seconds. However, it can still be activated by Arrest. Displaying buffs and debuffs: Added sorting of effects in the buff panel: Effects are automatically categorized into buffs, rhythms, triggers, and debuffs. Now the effects are divided into 4 groups: Buffs — up to 24 effects (2 lines) Rhythms — up to 12 effects Triggers — up to 12 effects Debuffs — up to 10 effects As a result, the maximum number of effects has been adjusted. The base buff limit has been reduced to 20 (main bar). It can be increased to 24 using Divine Inspiration books: Ancient Book: Divine Inspiration (Modern Language Version) — slot 21 (available from level 30) Ancient Book: Divine Inspiration (Original Language Version) — slot 22 (available from level 40) Ancient Book: Divine Inspiration (Manuscript) — slot 23 (available from level 50) Ancient Book: Divine Inspiration (Original Version) — slot 24 (available from level 60) As a reminder, excess buffs and rhythms can be removed using the Alt + LMB key combination. Bladedancer and Swordsinger can only remove rhythms from themselves using the Enjoy the Silence skill. Quick Access Toolbar: The maximum number of quick access toolbar rows has been increased to 6 Added the ability to assign hotkeys to the quick access toolbar: Hot keys can be assigned to any line of the panel Important! Currently, only single keys are supported. Combinations (such as Alt+1, Ctrl+Q, and others) will be added in a future update Added the ability to save hotkey presets: You can create up to 3 presets All presets are saved locally on your computer General interface view: Hidden text Saving a preset: Hidden text Loading a preset: Hidden text Other: Increased the experience gained from killing unguarded Raid Bosses (solo) of levels 25-50, similar to bosses of higher levels Sight into the future Upcoming plans and changes that are already in active development: Game market and trading: The following changes will take effect with the next update on July 20: The minimum character level required for trading has been increased to 10 We're announcing this change in advance to give everyone enough time to prepare the necessary characters and adjust to the new trading requirements The default number of buy and sell slots has been increased to 5 for all characters Characters with an active Premium Account now have access to 10 trading slots These changes will make trading more convenient and efficient while reducing congestion in city trading zones.
