The file download logic has been reworked. As a result, the size of updates has been significantly reduced. On average, players will need to download approximately 5 times less data. Full multilingual support has been added to the launcher, with an easy language selection option. A new setting for launcher closing behavior has been added: you can minimize it to the system tray or close it completely. The launcher no longer requires additional components such as .NET to be installed. The launcher's design has been updated and improved. No manual installation is required to get the new version: simply close the current launcher and open it again — it will automatically update to version 1.8.1.4. After the update, it is recommended to additionally run Check Files. Game Client Unreal Engine 5 is performing brilliantly in real-world play, and we're working on the game nonstop. You've already noticed many changes and improvements, and many more are yet to be implemented. We continue to refine the interface, visuals, performance, and various game systems, gradually transforming the client into a more seamless and user-friendly gaming experience. Below, we'll cover what's already been accomplished and what's changed in this version. More about effects We continue to actively update the game's visuals — we're refining VFX, animations, materials, and sound to make each class, skill, and its use more vibrant and expressive. The game is in active development, so the visual effects will gradually be expanded, improved, and become more detailed. We're not just adding new effects, but also revisiting existing ones, improving their quality, readability, optimization, and consistency with the game's overall visual style. Some of the updated effects are already available in the game, and others will be added in the current update. However, there's still a lot of work to do — further reworking of existing effects, creating new VFX, and creating soundtracks for skills. Fixed color indication of classes and subclasses in the Fatigue window: the color now reflects the actual fatigue state of each class, rather than the current selection. The Fatigue icon display has been fixed — its color now changes according to the character's current fatigue level: green, yellow, orange, or red. The display of professions in the Fatigue window has been fixed: all available professions are now displayed correctly. Interface: Fixed saving of the target's HP bar size in the Target/Party/Player windows — the user-set size is now saved after closing and reopening the window. Added tooltips for buffs, debuffs, and rhythms for Pets and Summoners, as well as for the character itself. The display of repeatable quests has been fixed — quests with the Repeatable type are now correctly displayed as repeatable, and not as One-time. The display of inventory load information has been fixed — the current and maximum weight are now correctly displayed when hovering over both the Inventory window and the character status window. Fixed display of token in Target window. The text when crystallizing items has been corrected — the message now correctly informs about the upcoming process instead of a message about deleting the item. Game client: Fixed monster sound playback in the Ancient Battleground and south of The Cemetery — elite monster sounds no longer play at a large distance and overlap each other, creating a constant noise. Alchemy Alchemy is a new crafting mechanic, the first part of the handicraft system. Alchemy allows you to create various potions useful to every adventurer. It is available to all characters, regardless of race or class, and has its own mastery progression system. Alchemy is designed to diversify gameplay, stimulate economics and trade between players of different levels, and will also become an important milestone in the game's development. Alchemy links monster hunting, crafting, and trading into a single system. Collected reagents are essential throughout the entire progression path, from the first buffs to high-tier items. They can be used independently, sold to other players, or refined into more valuable alchemical materials. Basics 5 alchemy tiers — progress from the basic level to the rarest and most valuable recipes. A variety of recipes – create buffs, elixirs, experience and noblesse scrolls, armor enhancement materials, and other unique items. Alchemical reagents are obtained directly from monsters. They drop in special boxes that can be opened and collected for further crafting. Reagents can be sold and traded with other players. Therefore, alchemy is not required — obtaining the materials themselves becomes a new way to earn money. Alchemy is available to any class. Anyone can become an alchemist, and you don't need to create a separate character. Master and develop alchemy on your main character. Craft anywhere — Most alchemical recipes can be created anywhere, without having to return to town or find a special NPC. Cauldron — at higher tiers, a special method of crafting items is unlocked. Unlike standard crafting using a recipe, brewing in the Cauldron can fail. The cauldron is only required to create special reagents to increase the Alchemist rank. Important: Regular crafting using a learned recipe is completely safe and has no risk of failure. The only chance of failure is when using a Cauldron. How to get started Reach level 20 and learn the corresponding skill. Dwarven characters can access the first level of alchemy at level 5. Find the alchemist Sa Izzuruk in Swampland and acquire your first mark, the Ashen Sigil. Go hunting for monsters marked as Reagent Carrier. Collect boxes and get reagents. Acquire and study alchemical recipes. Once learned, the recipe becomes a permanent formula for your character. Open the crafting window using the Alchemist's Cauldron skill and start creating items. Five tiers Access to each subsequent tier is unlocked through special stamps. The Ashen Sigil, essential for all beginning alchemists, is sold by Sa Izzuruk for 100 000 Adena. Subsequent tiers are unlocked by crafting high-level Sigils by the alchemist. Ashen Sigil D 20+ level — first reagents and basic alchemical items. Argent Sigil C level 40+ – new recipes and access to more valuable crafting results. Lunar Sigil B 56+ level — Cauldron, elixirs and more advanced alchemical recipes. Gilded Sigil A 65+ level — unsealing and upgrading A-grade items. Aetheric Sigil M 70+ level — the rarest and most valuable recipes in the system. Alchemical skills Alchemical Expertise: Character's passive skill Learned at levels 20/40/56/65/70: The first level of the skill is available at level 5 for characters of the Dwarf race. Each skill level unlocks access to recipes of a higher Tier Alchemist's Cauldron: Character's active skill Available to all characters from level 1 When used, it opens the alchemist's camp cauldron and allows you to create various products anywhere in the world. Reagent Carrier: Monster Passive Skill Monsters marked with this sign drop chests containing alchemical reagents. Alchemy in the game world Alchemy makes solo play significantly more enjoyable. An alchemist can provide himself and friends with a basic set of buffs, allowing them to farm or adventure without constant reliance on other players. Alchemy also opens up an additional path to character development. Farm reagents instead of the usual spoil, sell them to other players, and earn money for equipment — or head to the market, buy the necessary materials, and start crafting right away. All reagents can be traded, sold, and purchased on the market. Collect them yourself, trade with other players, or buy missing materials — you decide how to develop your character. And most importantly, you don't have to become an alchemist to benefit from the system. Reagents and finished items can be sold at any stage. If you want to brew yourself, create the necessary mixtures. If you don't want to waste time crafting, sell the materials you've collected to other players. For solo players Buffs and potions are always at hand. Once you've assembled the right mixture, you can farm or explore the world without waiting for a buffer or adjusting your gameplay to other players. Alchemy allows you to prepare for the action and get the boosts you need exactly when you need them. For beginners Reagents start dropping as early as level 20, so you can earn money from alchemy almost from the very beginning of the game. Even if you don't plan on crafting, collect reagents during regular farming and sell them to other players. For some, this is extra loot, and for you, it's an additional source of income. For alchemists and merchants Alchemy opens up opportunities not only for production but also for trade. You can buy inexpensive reagents, process them into compounds, and profit from the difference between the cost of the materials and the finished product. Or you can simply resell reagents and finished items, finding favorable deals on the market. Endgame At higher levels, alchemy becomes even more interesting. Currently, Noblesse can only be obtained through this system. Components for upgrading A-grade armor are also created here. The standard path is still available — alchemy adds another path. You can choose what suits your character best: farm reagents, brew items, trade them, or use your own creations. Thus, alchemy is useful at any stage of the game: a solo player gains independence, a beginner gains an additional source of income, an alchemist gains new recipes, and a merchant gains another market for earnings. What can be created? Potions and buff elixirs: The effect of potions is similar to standard buffs, but it is still a little weaker. An elixir combines the effects of a set of physical or magical potions and allows you to use them all in one use. Battle Elixirs: Temporary buffs designed to last for several minutes of active combat: Simple Elixir (B-Grade) lasts 2 minutes. Greater Elixir (A-Grade) lasts 2.5 minutes. Supreme Elixir (M-Grade) lasts 3 minutes. All elixirs have a general cooldown of 15 minutes. Only one elixir can be active at a time. While the effect is active or the global cooldown is in effect, another elixir cannot be used. Elixirs do not conflict with regular potions and buffs — restrictions apply only between the elixirs themselves. Elixirs are available for creation by experienced alchemists who have obtained Lunar Sigil B and above. The following battle elixirs are available: Predation — Increases P. Atk., M. Atk., Atk. Spd., and Cast. Spd., but decreases defensive stats. B/A/M-Grade. Bulwark — Reduces damage taken from monsters and physical damage from players. B/A/M-Grade. Resolve — Increases resistance to debuffs. B/A/M-Grade. Clarity — Reduces MP consumption for skills and increases MP recovery. B/A/M-Grade. Vitality — Increases maximum HP, incoming healing effectiveness, and HP recovery. A/M-Grade. Celerity — Increases Speed and Slow Resistance, but decreases P. Def. A/M-Grade. Siphoning — Allows you to restore HP using a portion of the damage dealt, but reduces the effectiveness of incoming healing. A/M-Grade. Reprisal — Increases P. Def. and M. Def. and returns some of the damage taken to the attacker. M-Grade. Bane — Increases the chance of inflicting Root, Bleed, Stun, Sleep, Poison, and Paralyze. M-Grade. Execution: Steel — Increases the chance and power of physical critical attacks, but decreases maximum HP. M-Grade. Execution: Arcana — Increases the chance and power of magical critical attacks, but decreases maximum HP. M-Grade. Experience scrolls: The rarity of the scroll is determined randomly upon creation: Common — 70% Uncommon — 25% Rare — 5% The bonus to experience gained depends on rarity: Common — +10% EXP Uncommon — +12% EXP Rare — +15% EXP The effect lasts for 30 minutes, after which a 30-minute cooldown is set. Scrolls have five level ranges: 1–40, 41–52, 53–65, 66–70, 71–75: The rank of the created scroll affects the level range in which the scroll can be used. The scroll does not work outside the appropriate level range. Hunting oils and protective tonics: Slayer's Oil — Your attacks and skills deal more damage to a specific type of monster: B-Grade — Basic Effect A-Grade — additionally increases damage dealt by 3%. M-Grade — additionally increases damage dealt by 5%. Warding Tonic — Reduces incoming damage from the selected monster type: B-Grade — by 3%. A-Grade — by 6%. M-Grade — by 10%. Each of the 18 monster types has separate item versions available at each tier. The effect of both items lasts for 20 minutes. Noblesse Scroll: Noblesse Scroll — Retains buffs after death for 20 minutes. C-tier Greater Noblesse Scroll — Retains buffs after death for 40 minutes. B-tier Grand Noblesse Scroll — Retains buffs after death for 60 minutes. A-tier Reagents and intermediate alchemical compounds Materials for upgrading and printing equipment: An alternative way to unseal A-grade armor is to have it unsealed by a non-NPC blacksmith for a fee. Inserts (shoulders) for A-grade armor — to create special inserts that change the armor's parameters, alchemy products are required. Unique chests and other items available only through Alchemy. Ash of Reckoning — a new way to reduce PK through Alchemy. To create Ash of Reckoning, you need to learn the corresponding recipe for your tier. The recipe can be purchased from an Alchemist and remains with the character after being learned. Ash is created from reagents of the corresponding tier and a special material Ashen Penance Seal. Crafting is standard, with no chance of failure. The finished Ash of Reckoning must be taken to the Black Judge and burned. After that, the character's PK is immediately reduced, and the Ash is consumed. The amount of PK removed is determined randomly within a set range and depends on the character's level and the Ash tier. The higher the Ash tier relative to the character's level, the more effective it is. Five Ash of Reckoning tiers are available: D, C, B, A, and M. Ash Recipe Cost Seal Cost Character Level: 20–39 Character Level: 40–55 Character Level: 56–64 Character Level: 65–69 Character Level: 70–75 Tier D 120 000 Adena 30 000 Adena 1–3 1–2 1 1 1 Tier C 180 000 Adena 45 000 Adena 2–4 2–4 1–3 1–2 1 Tier B 248 000 Adena 62 000 Adena 3–5 3–5 3–5 2–4 1–3 Tier A 340 000 Adena 85 000 Adena 3–6 3–6 3–6 3–6 2–5 Tier M 480 000 Adena 120 000 Adena 3–7 3–7 3–7 3–7 3–7 The columns show the character's level when the Ash is burned, while the cells show the amount of PK removed by a single burn. The value is determined randomly within the specified range. In addition to reducing PK, using Ash of Reckoning applies an additional temporary effect. In most cases, the character receives Reckoning: P. Def. and M. Def. -5% for 20 minutes. There is a chance to receive the alternative Absolution effect: EXP +2% and MP Recovery +2 for 20 minutes. Which effect will be received — Reckoning or Absolution — cannot be determined in advance. Inventory Expansion Alchemy brings hundreds of new items to the game — reagents, recipes, and other valuables. Expanding your Inventory will help you gather more loot, stay in the field longer, and return to town less often. More space means more alchemy reagents, more loot, and more trading opportunities. In alchemy, every reagent has value: they're used to create buffs, elixirs, experience scrolls, and unique items. But reagents take up space and weight. With the Inventory Expansion, you'll be able to farm longer, collect more reagents, and loot more without having to return to town because your inventory is full. +50% to weight limit +30 Inventory slots +50 Warehouse slots +8 Mail slots +5 buy/sell slots You can purchase the Inventory Expansion from the Adventurers' Guide in the game and in the Personal Account store. These monsters are encountered throughout the entire progression path from level 20 to 75: common monsters, elite monsters, and unique monsters. In each location, they correspond to the level of the zone. What is important to know The chance is the same for everyone. Rates, runes, premium items, and events do not affect the chance of receiving a box. The monster's level matters. If the monster is too weak or too strong relative to your level, the box won't drop. One monster per box. In a group, the recipient is randomly determined among participants with the appropriate Mark. The player who finishes off the monster receives no advantage. The group speeds up farming, but does not increase the number of boxes. The reagent tier depends on the monster's level and the Marks available to you. The higher the monster's level, the higher the possible reagent tier. Without the appropriate Mark, you won't be able to obtain the corresponding tier of reagents. For example, Ashen Sigil D will only drop tier D reagents on level 70–75 monsters. Where to look for reagents Below are the locations and monster levels from which reagents of the corresponding tier can be obtained. The levels listed are specific to monsters from the Reagent Carrier and may differ from the general level of the location. Some locations feature two tiers at once: this occurs where monster levels are at the extremes of the range. For example, Field of Silence allows you to obtain Tier D and Tier C reagents. In total, monsters from the Reagent Carrier are encountered in 67 locations along the path from level 20 to 75. However, due to the blocking effect, the skill cannot be used more than once every 2 minutes. As a result, the skill has become significantly more relevant in PvP. By increasing the strength of the effect and reducing its duration, the original purpose of the skill has been restored — allowing increased damage to be dealt over a short period of time, compensated by reduced defensive stats for the group. Adjusted MP cost of mass buffs for Prophet, Elven Elder, Shilen Elder, Warcryer, and Overlord: Most of Prophet, Elven Elder, and Shilen Elder's mass buffs have had their MP cost reduced to approximately 85.71% of their current value — the multiplier relative to similar single skills has been changed from ×3.5 to ×3, like Warcryer. Adjusted the cost of Mass Mental Shield and Mass Concentration, which previously had values that were inconsistent with the overall system. The cost of Mass Greater Might, Mass Greater Shield, War Chant , and Earth Chant has been significantly recalculated. Fixed the cost of Mass Guidance, Chant of Eagle and Vision of Pa'agrio. The cost of Chant of Protection Spirit, Shield of Pa'agrio, and Emblem of Pa'agrio has been recalculated to take into account their counterparts and the general cost system of area-of-effect skills. As a result, for Prophet, Elven Elder, and Shilen Elder, AoE buffs now use a single ×3 target relative to the cost of their respective single abilities. Clarity's cost has been adjusted for Elven Elder and Shilen Elder. The casting cost has been significantly reduced, allowing for significant MP savings while maintaining the effect, leaving more resources for other buffs and abilities. This is especially noticeable during long games and regular group rebuffs. For a number of old mass skills, the cost of which was historically not recalculated or did not have a direct equivalent, the values have been adjusted to a more consistent calculation system. Unity of Pa'agrio mechanic is also worth considering: Overlords can reduce the cost of their abilities by up to 50% depending on the number of characters in the party. Therefore, when comparing the resource costs of mass buffs, it's important to consider not only the base cost but also the class mechanics themselves. Unlock: Improved skill description Only one Thief Key is required for use on all levels. As a reminder, this skill only allows you to open doors. To open treasure chests in the game world, you need a special key. Coin Flipping: The effects have been moved to a separate row and no longer occupy a buff slot. Skill Critical Damage: The base critical hit chance has been increased at lower levels and is now 15% at all skill levels. Previously, the chance gradually increased from 5% to 15% by level 60, after which it remained at 15%. As a result, the following skills now land critical hits more often for characters levels 40–60: Shield Strike (Paladin, Dark Avenger, Temple Knight, Shillien Knight). Deadly Strike (Swordsinger, Bladedancer). Crushing Strike (Bounty Hunter, Warsmith). The base critical hit chance has been increased from 10% to 15% at all character levels, bringing it in line with the standard value for physical skills. As a result, the following skills now land critical hits more often at all character levels: Tribunal (Paladin, Temple Knight). Judgment (Dark Avenger, Shillien Knight). Mass Recharge (Elven Elder, Shillien Elder): An intermediate 2nd skill level has been added, making the MP restoration progression smoother. Level 1: learned at level 62, restores 420 MP, base casting time — 7 seconds. Level 2: learned at level 68, restores 580 MP, base casting time — 6 seconds. Level 3: learned at level 74, restores 750 MP, base casting time — 5 seconds. The intermediate level was added not only to provide smoother stat progression. The skill uses a mechanic that allows it to interact with the effects of Mana Gain, passive Higher Mana Gain, and other similar sources that increase MP restoration. As with regular Recharge, an appropriate penalty is applied when there is a significant difference between the skill level and the character level. More details about the MP restoration mechanics and how they interact with skill level can be found in our Wiki. Mass Concentration is now available for Elven Oracle, Shillien Oracle, Elven Elder, and Shillien Elder to learn: Elven Oracle and Shillien Oracle: character levels 20 and 30. However, the values listed above will be used for parameter calculations. — one Will book of each type — random Low C-grade weapon — random Mid C-grade weapon — random C-grade armor pieces — random C-grade jewelry Ancient Book: Divine Inspiration (Manuscript) — 3-5 books Physical Ring of Queen Ant: The ring's stats have been improved—it now additionally increases P. Skills, Crit. Damage by 10%. How this bonus works: The bonus increases critical damage from standard physical skills by 10%: the base critical damage multiplier changes from ×2 to ×2.2. Standard physical abilities include abilities such as Fatal Strike and Double Shot. The bonus does not apply to Blow abilities. Critical damage from Blow skills is still increased by the classic P. Crit. Damage +10% bonus. This change gives archers more versatility in combat. With the new parameters, using skills becomes more advantageous and effective in certain combat situations. This is also the first step toward gradually expanding the critical damage amplification parameter for physical skills. In the future, this value can be used to both enhance and limit the effectiveness of physical skills, similar to the critical damage mechanics of magical skills. Read more about the damage mechanics of physical abilities in our Wikipedia. Raid Bosses: Rewards for killing NG/D/C-grade Raid Bosses have been standardized to match those of higher-level Bosses. The general drop has been standardized — Scrolls and Proof of Loyalty. Standardized common drops (Weapons, Armor, and Jewelry, as well as parts and recipes for their creation): For High and Top C-grade Bosses, rewards will be revised and improved when these Bosses are introduced to the new servers on August 17th and 24th. Important! On the Black, White , & Carmine servers, Raid Bosses will be unlocked in stages as the server develops, similar to what happened on Gamma during its launch. High and Top C-grade: Hidden text Respawn time from 6 to 10 hours All Bosses are invulnerable to damage and any effects for 2 minutes after spawning. Flags (PvP) when interacting Bosses cannot be moved more than 2500 from their spawn point. Boss and guard levels have been adjusted to match the value of the rewards they receive: The stats of bosses and their guards have been adjusted accordingly. On average, they have become stronger and more resilient by approximately 15–28%. EXP and SP rewards have been increased to make the game more rewarding and in line with the increased difficulty. Rewards (Weapons, Armor, and Jewelry) will be revised and improved upon the introduction of these Bosses to the new servers.
